The CERN Technical Student Program is open to applicants. All international students can apply for these Short Internship programs. A total of 120 CERN Summer internships are announced. CERN offers a variety of internship fields to undergraduate and graduate students who choose to spend their summer in Switzerland.

To apply for the CERN Short Internship Programs, you do not need to have an IELTS or TOFEL score. The duration of the internship is between four and twelve months. CERN will choose 120 students from all over the world for this amazing opportunity. Selected individuals will gain greater experience in a diverse environment. Eligibility Criteria

  • To be eligible for an Internship, the applicant must be a citizen of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
  • Must have completed at least 18 months of undergrad (bachelor’s or master’s) studies.
  • You can stay as a full-time student for a minimum of 4 months and a maximum of 12 months.
  • Must be fluent in either English or French.
